How ICEBO works
ICEBO is designed for intentional introductions, private conversations and a calm pace. This guide explains each stage from registration to a meaningful first date.

Build and update your profile
Open More > Profile & preferences to update your name, city, biography, relationship goals, interests, values and communication preferences. Add or replace photos in your gallery, then open Profile preview to see how other members view you.

Set an Opening Move
Add an optional question to your profile, such as “What does your ideal Sunday look like?” A match can use it to begin a natural conversation instead of sending a generic greeting.

Activate and renew membership
ICEBO Premium is R100 per month. Use the EFT reference provided, attach proof where possible, and wait for Admin approval. Before membership ends, open Membership or Payments, make the renewal EFT, and submit it for review. Your profile, photos and conversations remain saved while payment is reviewed.

Discover members
Browse active public members of the opposite gender. Swipe right to send a Like, swipe left to Pass, or open the full profile to see the complete gallery, biography and relationship details before deciding.

Respond to interest
The notification bell and Who liked you page show every new Like. Open the person’s profile, choose Like back to make a match, or Pass. A one-way Like never opens a conversation.

Match and chat
When interest is mutual, ICEBO creates a private match and conversation for the two members only. Use the Opening Move, respond thoughtfully and keep chats inside the platform until you are comfortable.

Stay safe and keep your account healthy
Use Block or Report whenever something feels wrong. Support conversations are two-way: Admin replies appear in your Support inbox and you can reply there. Keep payment, identity and personal contact information out of your public profile, and keep your profile current so the right people can understand you.
Getting the most from ICEBO
Habits that lead to better conversations
- • Use More > Profile & preferences whenever you want to update your details.
- • Use Profile preview after editing to check what members can see.
- • Use at least three recent photos that show your face and everyday life.
- • Write a biography that gives someone a genuine topic to ask about.
- • Review Likes promptly so other members are not left waiting.
- • Send a personal first message based on a profile detail or Opening Move.
- • Use the notification bell for Likes, matches, messages and Support responses.
- • Renew before membership ends so Premium discovery and chat access continue.
Important account and payment information
Payment approval activates membership access. If a payment is waiting for review, use the waiting room to check its status or replace proof of payment. Do not create a second payment reference for an already submitted payment unless Admin asks you to do so.
